What Happens When You Call

The first few minutes are questions, not a pitch. You might notice a chlorine smell at the kitchen faucet, white scale on the shower glass, orange rings in a toilet tank, or a filter housing nobody has opened in a year. Those symptoms come from different sources, so we want the details before recommending equipment. When the source is not obvious, water testing usually comes first. A hardness or iron number shows whether a softener, a sediment filter or a carbon system is the right fit.

Then we pick a visit time that suits your schedule. In your home we check where the supply line comes in, the wall space by the water heater or in the garage for a whole-house unit, and the cabinet under the sink if reverse osmosis is on the table. Nothing gets installed until you have the price on paper, broken out by housing, cartridge, valve and fitting, and you have agreed to it. That is how we would want a neighbor treated. We work in Rowlett and nearby towns such as Garland, Sachse and Rockwall.

Have These Ready Before You Call

  1. A quick note on what you are seeing, such as an odd taste, a smell, spotting or weak pressure, and roughly when it started.
  2. The brand and model of any filter, softener or RO system already installed, which is usually on a sticker on the tank or housing.
  3. Any recent water test results, or the annual water quality report from your utility if it is close at hand.
  4. Where the supply line comes into your home, often the garage or beside the water heater, and whether there is open wall or floor space next to it.

Talk Over Your Water With a Neighbor

Describe the smell, stain or spotting and we will walk you through what usually causes it. When a test makes more sense than new equipment, that is what we will recommend.
