About Our Water Filtration Work in Rowlett
We are a small water filtration company serving Rowlett and the towns around it. We test your water first, explain what the numbers mean, and recommend only the equipment your home actually needs. Then we install it cleanly and show you how to keep it working.
Why we start with a test, not a sales pitch
Municipal water in our area is treated to meet federal drinking water rules. That changes the conversation. The questions we hear are practical ones: why the tap water smells like a swimming pool, why the shower glass keeps a white film, or whether old fittings under the kitchen sink are adding anything to the water you drink.
Each of those has a different cause and a different fix. Disinfectant taste comes from the chlorine or chloramine the utility adds, and activated carbon adsorbs it. Scale is calcium and magnesium dropping out of solution as water heats, which a softener's resin bed handles through ion exchange. Lead from old plumbing or high dissolved solids at one faucet is a job for an under-sink reverse osmosis membrane. Buy the wrong system and you lose money and cabinet space for no gain.
So we test first. Water testing gives us hardness in grains per gallon, iron, pH, total dissolved solids and disinfectant levels, and we walk you through the results before anyone talks about equipment. If the numbers say you do not need a softener, we tell you that plainly.
How we treat a job in your home
Estimates you can check line by line
You get the test results and a written estimate listing each part: filter housing, media or cartridge, valves, fittings and labor. You can compare it item for item with anyone else's.
Care for the space we work in
Most installs tie in at the main line in a garage or utility closet, or inside a kitchen sink base. We lay down drop cloths, keep the water off only as long as the tie-in takes, and flush the new system before we leave so carbon fines do not end up in your faucets.
Honest answers on what you already own
If a sediment prefilter just needs a fresh cartridge or a softener needs its brine tank cleaned, we say so instead of quoting a replacement. Our filter replacement and maintenance visits exist for exactly that work.
Upkeep explained before we go
Carbon tanks, RO membranes and sediment cartridges wear out on their own schedules. We show you the bypass valve, how to read the pressure gauge, and roughly when each part will need attention.
Where we work
We work in homes across Rowlett and nearby communities, including Garland, Sachse, Richardson, Wylie, Rockwall, Fate, Murphy, Heath, Travis Ranch and Sunnyvale. Supply and treatment can differ from one city system to the next, which is one more reason we test at your tap instead of assuming. The Service Areas page lists more detail.
